About SBS and How This Works
Signature Background Screening (SBS) offers all of the parties to a real estate rental transaction the ease of determining the best fit between person and home. There are three parties served through the SBS system: the applicant for a rental, the rental agent, and the landlord/property owner and his/her homeowner’s association, when applicable.
Submit Request
The person applying for the background screening pays the fee and is entitled to the private report generated, which they may share if they wish, on their own.
Share
Access to the report is through a private link. Applicants are encouraged to share the results with their agent and to property managers to speed along the rental process. Signature agents may direct their applicants to SBS.
